OUTREACH

Central to NMHA's approach are our continuing efforts to coordinate and cooperate with other organizations that share NMHA's mission goals.

We work and have worked with literally hundreds of organizations. This is a small sample and we have active working arrangements with organizations listed in caps below.

The mission .. is to promote an appreciation of our maritime heritage and to foster an awareness and understanding of our marine environment.

Working to ensure that the right choices are made concerning the harbor, rivers and estuaries of the New York and New Jersey waterfront.

This is where NMHA got started, and still hosts many of our events.

Public adult sailing lessons on the Navesink.

Working for environmental issues concerning local waters; educate children and adults, and stop sprawl.

Cooperative center for the study of marine and environmental science.

A great little museum, all about boating in New Jersey

Promote and support “Sailing for Everyone” regardless of ability, financial status and age.

We’re ALL about Sailing.

A national, nonprofit, land conservation organization.

Combines emerging technologies with traditional methods of boat design, construction and repair. The magazine is about craftsmanship in wood.

The Navesink is our local river.

Used to build dugout canoes, which we hope to do some day.
