Ocean Fun Days is an annual Sandy Hook program organized through NOAA Seagrant to support Ocean Education. NMHA has participated in this program for a number of years, and brings program information and its model boat pond to this event.
Generally the event takes place in May. NMHA provides children model boat kids to build and sail in the pond.
The boat kits are manufactured by NMHA volunteers.
