December 12th 2024: Evergreens Swag Workshop at Grover House.

Registration is required for this event. Please click register at the left of your screen. There is a $25 participation fee.

NMHA is pleased to invite Members to Grover House to create a beautiful evergreen swag for your home consisting of fresh evergreens and eucalyptus branches. Complete the project with accessories such as ribbon, pinecones and jingle bells.

We’re excited to have Cassy Abel, NMHA member, talented arts and crafts professional and active in the Garden Club of Fair Haven, to lead beginners and experienced gardeners in this seasonal workshop.

We’re also pleased to welcome Michelle Moon, NMHA member and public historian who connects people to the meaning of their local histories, for a story or two. Many of you will remember Michelle’s fascinating presentation in December 2022 - The Evergreen Boats: Monmouth County’s Forgotten Christmas Greens Trade.

Light refreshments will be available. All materials will be provided, but gardening nitrile gloves are recommended. If you have some, please bring clippers and wire cutters.  Label your tools.

Please REGISTER (at left on your screen). There is a $25 fee to cover materials and refreshments, and the event is restricted to the first 15 Members who register and pay.
