A Weekend on Old Monmouth

Members Reception and Celebration!

Grover House, a 1730s farmhouse, is on the Weekend in Old Monmouth tour, and the NMHA Board of Trustees welcomes you to a Reception and Celebration at Grover House on Friday, May 3rd when light refreshments will be available.

Please RSVP by clicking on 'Register' at the left of your screen and remeber to click "Confirm" at the end to complete your registration.

Attend any time from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. This is a free event for Members (pone non-member guest per Member is permitted) and we will use the number of registrations to guide our catering requirements. Thank you.

There is ADA access to the house from the parking lot and an ADA bathroom.

Grover House is on the National and New Jersey Registers of Historic Places. Two rooms were renovated ny NMHA volunteers in 2018-2020 to become our main meeting room with a small kitchen and ADA bathroom, (with heat, light, plumbing!). The hallway is being renovated to house a small collection of Grover Family memorabilia and some information on the Grover House structure.

This is a work in progress and will be expanded over time. The current project is the renovation of the main living room to become a library, social center, and relaxing space.
