River Cruise: View Local Birds from the Deck of  the MARINER

Join Audubon and NMHA on an inaugural bird watching trip on Classic Boat Rides' MARINER.

Starting at 0800 in Atlantic Highlands, we will view the Raritan Bay birds and then take advantage of the low tide to view the birds on the Rumson Reach tidal flats, move upstream on the Navesink to view the various osprey nests and hopefully see the Eagle on its morning run from Swimming river to the shore, all in the comfort of the Mariner with breakfast served.

Bird identification and information will be provided by an Audubon Society guide.

Breakfast is included (coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, fruit) aboard. Bring your binoculars and cameras. Mimosas and Bloody Marys can be purchased at the onboard bar!

0800: Mariner Departs Atlantic Highlands Marina. Directions HERE

1100: Return to Atlantic Highlands Marina

The Mariner will go where the birds are (water depth permitted), but will start at Atlantic Highlands, and initially move up the Navesink river. The birds, the Captain and the Audubon guide will further refine the program on the fly.

Registration $40 per person, breakfast included. Cash bar aboard Mariner.
